Review of HKDPB decisions

Any person who is aggrieved by a decision of the HKDPB under section 13(3)(b), (5)(b) or (8)(a), (b) or (d) of DPSO in relation to exemption to join the DPS may apply to the Deposit Protection Appeals Tribunal (the Tribunal) for a review of the decision.

If a Scheme member is dissatisfied with the HKDPB’s assessment under section 15(1) of DPSO of the amount of contribution payable by the Scheme member, the Scheme member may apply to the Tribunal for a review of the assessment.

Any person who is aggrieved by a decision of the Monetary Authority specified in the rules made under section 53 of DPSO in relation to the requirements on the maintenance of assets in Hong Kong may apply to the Tribunal for a review of the decision.
